As a Disability Employment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals with disabilities to transform their lives.

Job Description

You will work closely with stakeholders, including employers and participants, to deliver tailored employment solutions. This involves identifying and securing employment opportunities for participants with local employers, as well as providing support to help them become job ready.

Your primary goal will be to enhance the employability of participants through training and support service referrals. You will also develop personalised job plans to ensure clear employment pathways.

In addition, you will build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups to increase employment opportunities for participants.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Eligibility to work in Australia is essential.
  • A current driver's licence and comprehensively insured vehicle are required.
  • A MyGovID (Standard level) must be held.
  • You must be willing to complete a National Police Check and pass a Working with Children Check.
  • A full-time commitment from Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm is necessary.
