About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our Buildings Services group, you will be responsible for designing and delivering hydraulic engineering solutions for a wide range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake hydraulic engineering assessments and calculations for the detailed design of building structures
  • Correspond with clients and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies
  • Prioritize workloads to ensure client needs are met while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain professional profiles, both internally and externally
  • Contribute to in-house design and project meetings
  • Adhere to Stantec's professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures

Requirements

  • Be degree qualified in an engineering discipline
  • Have experience working in the consulting or engineering industry, with a good understanding of the local buildings business
  • Self-management skills, technical design, and project management abilities
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic engineering principles and practices
  • Ability to multitask and deliver high-profile projects in a timely manner
  • Previous experience in hydraulic building services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
  • Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
