About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our Buildings Services group, you will be responsible for designing and delivering hydraulic engineering solutions for a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake hydraulic engineering assessments and calculations for the detailed design of building structures
- Correspond with clients and stakeholders, including local authorities and government bodies
- Prioritize workloads to ensure client needs are met while maintaining strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
- Develop and maintain professional profiles, both internally and externally
- Contribute to in-house design and project meetings
- Adhere to Stantec's professional standards, ethics, and quality procedures
Requirements
- Be degree qualified in an engineering discipline
- Have experience working in the consulting or engineering industry, with a good understanding of the local buildings business
- Self-management skills, technical design, and project management abilities
- Strong understanding of hydraulic engineering principles and practices
- Ability to multitask and deliver high-profile projects in a timely manner
- Previous experience in hydraulic building services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines
- Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic
