As a Senior Engineer at SA Water, you will play a key role in supporting the Engineering teams for hydraulic designs, investigations, and collaborations with business partners.

Job Description
- Provide expert support in Hydraulic engineering matters across the corporation.
- Offer technical guidance in Safety in Design (SiD) matters.
- Collaborate with the Principal Engineer to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies, driving innovation and best practice improvements in Hydraulic engineering standards and practices.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders ensuring effective communication with engineering teams, project managers, vendors, and contractors.
- Determine suitability of new and emerging technology to benefit the corporation.
- Support to the Engineering design/studies team for mechanical investigation.
- Travel to sites to assess engineering situations frequently.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate qualifications in hydraulics are desirable.
- Sound knowledge of Hydraulic engineering procedures and practices.
- Experience in the provision of investigation, concept, and detailed design of mechanical infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience in executing complex and critical engineering investigations.
- Knowledge to develop project-specific hydraulic specifications.
- Chartered Professional Engineer with Engineers Australia (EA) or in the process of obtaining chartership with EA is desirable.
- A valid driver's license required.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
