
Inside Sales Function Builder

This is a unique chance to be at the forefront of building a brand-new Inside Sales function.
You'll work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing to establish the framework, processes, and best practices for the team - with a clear career pathway into Business Development and leadership.
We're looking for someone who has already managed and led a sales team in a previous role, so you can hit the ground running and lay the foundation for a high-performing unit.
Key Responsibilities- Be the founding member of the Inside Sales team - setting the tone, structure, and strategy
- Use your prior team leadership experience to help shape the future team's success
- Respond to inbound leads and proactively follow up on quotes
- Reconnect with lapsed customers and identify cross-sell opportunities
- Conduct outbound cold calls to drive new business opportunities
- Thrive in a dynamic sales environment with high visibility and measurable impact
Requirements
We are seeking a driven sales professional with proven team leadership experience.
You should have:
- 2-3 years' experience managing or leading a sales team (inside sales, account development, or similar B2B)
- Proven track record in outbound sales and cold calling
- Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, energetic attitude
- Resilient, resourceful, and thrives on ownership and accountability
- Relevant industry experience is highly desirable - construction, infrastructure, government, or mining
- Experience using CRM and sales tracking tools
