Inside Sales Team Leader

Location: Seven Hills (Head Office)

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 + commission and incentives

Opportunity: Full-time, permanent role with clear progression to BDM

The Opportunity

This is a unique chance to be the first hire in a brand-new Inside Sales function. You\'ll work closely with the Head of Sales and Marketing to build the framework, processes, and best practices for the team - with a clear career pathway into Business Development and leadership.

We\'re looking for someone who has already managed and led a sales team in a previous role, so you can hit the ground running and lay the foundation for a high-performing unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be the founding member of the Inside Sales team - setting the tone, structure, and strategy
  • Use your prior team leadership experience to help shape the future team\'s success
  • Respond to inbound leads and proactively follow up on quotes
  • Reconnect with lapsed customers and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Conduct outbound cold calls to drive new business opportunities
  • Thrive in a dynamic sales environment with high visibility and measurable impact
What We\'re Looking For / Qualifications
  • 2-3 years\' experience managing or leading a sales team (inside sales, account development, or similar B2B)
  • Proven track record in outbound sales and cold calling
  • Strong commercial acumen with a proactive, energetic attitude
  • Resilient, resourceful, and thrives on ownership and accountability
  • Relevant industry experience is highly desirable - construction, infrastructure, government, or mining
  • Experience using CRM and sales tracking tools
  • Build and shape a brand-new Inside Sales function from the ground up
  • Clear career pathway into Business Development and future leadership opportunities
