Job Overview:

The role of Strategic Portfolio Manager involves leading and overseeing the organization's strategic planning processes and systems to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive strategic plans to drive initiative delivery and project management.
  • Manage project portfolios effectively, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Provide strategic support to senior leadership teams and key change leaders.
  • Prepare and present clear, data-driven reports for governing bodies and leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the annual strategic planning process and review, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to translate strategy into actionable initiatives and projects.
  • Establish and maintain robust strategic frameworks, policies, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of all projects within the portfolio, ensuring successful outcomes.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (desired).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading a Planning & Project Management Office or similar function, with a strong track record in strategic planning and governance.
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, able to drive complex projects forward.
