Job Title: Strategic Portfolio Manager

The Uniting Church in Australia, Queensland Synod is seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead its strategic planning processes and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of the organisation's strategic plan, ensuring it aligns with the church's mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of the organisational strategy, ensuring it is aligned with the church's mission and values.
  • Oversee the implementation of the strategic plan, ensuring effective delivery and monitoring of progress.
  • Provide strategic advice and support to senior leaders and stakeholders on matters related to organisational strategy and performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including governance bodies and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field such as business, management or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in a not-for-profit or faith-based organisation.
  • Demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, leadership and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
