About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to support our Project Controls and Analysis team in delivering portfolio analysis, forecasting, reporting, and planning across multiple assets.

You will play a key role in providing strategic project and portfolio management expertise, driving business value through effective cost control, risk identification, and performance optimization.

  • Deliver accurate and timely portfolio reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis to inform business decisions.
  • Prioritize and manage cash resources across multiple assets to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain and analyze portfolio OPEX and CAPEX performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement project and portfolio performance metrics to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate and communicate portfolio risks and variances to stakeholders, ensuring prompt mitigation and resolution.
  • Optimize portfolio systems and processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability.

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Project Controls & Analysis subject matter expert, preferably in mining or major capital projects.
  • Strong expertise in project cost control and cost systems, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
  • A track record of delivering value through effective project controls leadership, driving business outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business (Finance/Accounting), Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • A solid understanding of project and portfolio risks, interdependencies, and critical paths, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential issues.
