Teaching Assistant Swimming Instructor

The primary role of the Teaching Assistant Swimming Instructor is to provide high-quality instruction and guidance to students in swimming lessons.

This position involves planning and preparing for weekly rostered lessons, teaching students from foundation – year 6 in and out of the water, and providing feedback on student progression.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering swimming lessons to students from foundation – year 6
  • Offering constructive feedback on student progress
  • Reporting on attendance and skills achieved

Applicants must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia and be available to work during school hours between 9am and 2:15pm, one day per week.

Selected candidates will undergo child protection screening and background checks as a condition of employment.
