Swimming Instructor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Swimming Instructor to join our team. As a Sessional Swimming Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of leaders.

Our comprehensive education program develops people of character, and we believe that swimming plays a significant part in this process. Your primary responsibility will be to plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons to students from Foundation to Year 6.

This includes creating lesson plans, providing constructive feedback, and collaborating with the Swimming Program Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery. You will teach swimming lessons both in and out of the water, promoting water safety and confidence.

As a successful candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to adapt to diverse learning needs. You will also have a passion for education and swimming, as well as experience working with children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and prepare weekly rostered lessons that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Teach swimming lessons both in and out of the water, promoting water safety and confidence
  • Provide regular feedback on student progression and achievements
  • Report attendance and skills achieved to the Swimming Program Coordinator
