Block is seeking a dedicated Sustainability Leader to oversee the development and implementation of environmental health and safety policies across the APAC region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with local regulations and best practices while promoting a healthy and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective health, safety, and security strategies and playbooks for Block employees and facilities across all geographies.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate risks, and maintain accurate records of policy inspection findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to manage projects and ensure a team-oriented approach to risk mitigation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Safety, Occupational Safety, and Health, or related field required; Masters degree desirable.
- Five years of related experience preferred within a corporate security organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
