Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CDL route driver to join our team. As a CDL Route Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting and disposing of waste materials in accordance with our environmentally responsible policies and procedures. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently once provided proper training.

Key Responsibilities:
* Safely transport and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including paperwork and customer interactions
* Provide exceptional customer service to assigned accounts while communicating any issues to the Manager or Dispatcher for resolution
* Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks on assigned truck prior to leaving and closing each day
* Plan schedule/route based on customer needs by reviewing daily paperwork (e.g. manifests, route sheets, etc.)

Requirements:
* Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
* Ability to repeatedly lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
* Basic knowledge of Windows-based software (Word, Excel, etc.)
* Willingness and ability to wear company-provided personal protective equipment such as eye protection, foot protection, Tyvek coveralls, and respirator (as needed)
* Ability to pass a DOT physical, drug test, and DEA background check

Preferred Qualifications:
* Hazmat endorsement (candidates will be expected to obtain as a condition of employment after hire)
* Valid TWIC Card
* At least 1 year of route driving experience
* Knowledge of hazardous materials and OSHA regulations
