Specialist Therapist for Problem Gambling

As a highly skilled specialist therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals and families affected by problem gambling. This rewarding role involves providing therapeutic interventions via face-to-face, telephone, and online methods to help clients overcome their struggles.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in psychology or counselling and current membership with a recognised professional association. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
Main Responsibilities:
- Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to individuals, couples, and families affected by problem gambling
- Developing, implementing, and regularly reviewing treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
- Delivering services in line with the program framework, including intake, assessment, and evidence-based interventions
- Facilitating group support sessions to address problem gambling in the community
- Maintaining accurate, confidential client records and data
