Delivering Personalised Support with Enhanced Lifestyles

We are looking for a dedicated Lifestyle Attendant to support a valued customer in Plympton Park. This role offers the opportunity to provide meaningful support in both the home and community, helping customers achieve their goals and maintain their quality of life.

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about providing personalised support and empowering people living with disabilities to live more independently. They will be able to assist with daily tasks, including personal care, household duties, and meal preparation, as well as provide safe manual handling assistance.

This is a varied role that requires the ability to work across different shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and passive overnights. The successful applicant will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as experience supporting individuals with complex needs, including behaviour support and diabetes management.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as personal care, household duties, and meal preparation
  • Providing safe manual handling assistance
  • Supporting with medication administration and diabetes management
  • Implementing behaviour support strategies in line with the customer's care plan
  • Facilitating community participation and outings
  • Using letter board communication to engage with the customer effectively
