Airport Security Officer Position

The Airport Security Officer is a key role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the safety and security of staff, passengers, and property within the airport.

Job Description:

As an Airport Security Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to prevent incidents. This includes performing access control duties, such as ID and boarding pass verification, screening, and bag checks. You will also respond promptly to security incidents, emergencies, or suspicious activity, following established protocols.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Australian Citizen or Full working rights in Australia
  • RIIWHS205E Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat Qualification
  • Valid Victorian Security License and First Aid Certificate
  • Current valid Driver's license (own transport preferred)
  • Proven experience in the security industry
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage professionally with staff, passengers, and stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer literacy and experience with security and access control systems
