Our team of Mental Health Support Workers plays a vital role in achieving this mission.

As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building rapport and collaborating effectively with staff, management, participants, their family, and friends to achieve positive outcomes
  • Liaising with participants' family and friends to explore new goals and ambitions, promote empowerment, and provide a medium of strong communication
  • Increasing participants' skills through active support, promoting independence, and enhancing personal development
  • Providing regular and frequent quality support in line with participants' plans, needs, and wants
  • Assisting participants in accessing their social community, engaging with friends and social groups, and promoting a healthier lifestyle

Requirements for success in this role include:

  • A minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Current First Aid level 2 Certificate
  • National Police Check
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance (preferred)
  • Manual handling (preferred)
  • Administration of medication (preferred)
  • Current CPR certification
  • Current Working with Children's Check
  • Current Australian Drivers License
  • Covid'19 Vaccination certificate
