Our client is seeking a Technical Solutions Specialist to join their Melbourne team.

This role offers the chance to combine technical expertise with pre-sales strategy, solution design, and client engagement, all while working with cutting-edge technology in a global environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Act as a technical expert in pre-sales discussions, supporting the sales team with tailored solution design
    • Collaborate with clients to define use cases and translate them into functional specifications
    • Prepare and maintain documentation including training manuals, solution designs, and test plans
    • Deliver technical product demonstrations and training sessions for clients and internal teams
    • Test and validate new hardware/software releases in a controlled environment
    • Provide Level 3 support to internal teams, assisting with escalated service tickets
    • Contribute to product rollouts, system integration design, and new feature implementation
Requirements:
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline
  • 3+ years in pre-sales, solution design, systems engineering, or technical support
  • Strong technical writing and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of system integration, APIs (REST/SOAP), and hardware I/O or relay systems
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ServiceNow, Visio, Teams & Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a customer-first approach
