Primary Care Specialist

This role plays a vital part in providing primary medical care to patients, ensuring delivery of high-quality services in accordance with professional standards and Defence policies.
Main Responsibilities- To provide medical care to patients in line with established guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve shared objectives, prioritizing the health and wellbeing of Defence personnel.
- Conduct assessments to determine Defence personnel's fitness for duty, offering support to maintain their health and wellbeing during deployments.
- Offer expert advice on medical matters to senior officers and other stakeholders.
- Holding an unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner in Australia, along with relevant professional certifications.
- Possessing significant experience in general practice settings, backed by continuous professional development activities.
- Maintaining current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
