Healthcare Professional for Primary Care Delivery

We are seeking a skilled medical professional to provide primary health care services across Far North Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver general practice services, including history taking, examination, decision making, diagnostics ordering and interpretation, clinical procedures, specialist referrals or secondary care admissions.
- Provide clinical care of an acute or emergent patient, pending the attendance of retrieval services.
- Offer telehealth consultations (utilising telephone, videoconference, email).
- Collaborate with other care providers to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
- Advise nurses and other health professionals as required.
- Participate in quality improvement activities (clinical audits and case reviews).
- Respect cultural diversity, including the traditional Indigenous view of health.
- Registration with AHPRA as Medical Practitioner.
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience.
- RACGP – GPT 3 or above (at least 12mths community GP experience) or ACRRM – CGT 2 and above.
- Ability to meet PHC credentialing requirements.
- Prior experience in Emergency Medicine is advantageous.
