About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our Radio Operations Group, Technology & Communication Services Command. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for tasking and coordinating activities of police vehicles responding to incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process urgent and non-urgent telephone calls, providing timely information to operational police to enable appropriate action to be taken.
  • Coordinate activities of police vehicles responding to incidents, ensuring effective communication and response.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve operational objectives.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a paid Training Program, which includes a 15-week full-time course.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and act decisively.
