About The Role

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the community, ensuring their feedback is heard and integrated into project planning
  • Plan and execute community relations strategies to support the development of a major infrastructure project
  • Engage with local communities through various channels, including door-knocking and letterboxing, to build awareness and understanding of the project
  • Provide a point of contact for members of the community to ensure they are aware of opportunities to provide feedback on the Project
  • Work closely with the project team to address community concerns and ensure that communication is clear, consistent, and effective

About You

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in communications, community, or customer engagement
  • At least four years of experience in community engagement with a preference for those with infrastructure project experience
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
