Leadership Role in Maintenance Management

This key position is responsible for the day-to-day management of Sealed Road Maintenance staff, including performance management and operational advice. The successful candidate will work closely with other teams to implement Council policies and procedures into the annual schedule of works.

The role involves monitoring and preparing reports on budget allocations and expenditure, as well as providing guidance on the efficient delivery of services. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring all Reactive Maintenance activities are completed in accordance with Council's Work Health and Safety and Quality Assurance Policies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate Level IV or Semi-professional Qualification, together with considerable personal experience;
  • A minimum two years' experience in a relevant role;
  • Experience in and current Traffic Control Certification;
  • A well-developed written communication skills, with experience in writing standard reports, proposals, and submissions;
  • A Current Class C Drivers Licence, MR Licence, Construction White Card, and First Aid Certificate.

Desirable criteria include additional relevant Tertiary Qualifications and Local Government experience.
