Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Roads Maintenance Officer to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our community.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering road and drainage works in accordance with programmed maintenance schedules, operating plant equipment, setting up traffic control, and performing general laboring tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver road and drainage works in accordance with programmed maintenance schedules for the Shire's road and roadside network.
  • Operate plant equipment, set up traffic control, perform general laboring tasks, maintain roads and drains, haul materials, and complete other tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
Requirements:
  • A current Victorian driver licence with heavy rigid endorsement.
  • Trade certificate or equivalent, completion of TAFE accredited/industry based training course, and/or demonstrated previous experience in municipal roadside, road, and drainage maintenance.
  • Accreditation in Traffic Control is preferred but not essential.
