Transaction Opportunity

Stockland Group Investments is seeking a Senior Capital Transactions Analyst to join our team. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse range of transactions across multiple asset classes within a diversified portfolio.

As part of the Group Investments team, you will gain exposure to various business units and have opportunities for long-term career growth with exciting development pathways.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in Sydney CBD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify new investment opportunities aligned to company strategy
  • Analyse and make recommendations on short-listed deals
  • Prepare underwrite packs, investment models and development feasibilities
  • Develop fund models
  • Support buy and sell side processes
  • Identify risks and mitigation strategies
  • Assist with contract documentation and negotiation
  • Coordinate internal approvals
  • Manage transaction workstreams
  • Engage with external stakeholders including agents, consultants and advisors
  • Maintain transaction databases
  • Contribute to strategic projects
  • Represent the company in the market
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a proactive professional with a strong understanding of investment proposals and due diligence. Excellent report writing, financial modelling skills, and stakeholder engagement capabilities are essential. Your ability to collaborate and support multiple leaders and projects across a networked organization will be crucial.

In addition, you will have:

  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Property, Finance or similar fields.
  • Experience: 2+ years as an analyst in the industry, ideally supporting transactions or advisory.
  • Skills:
  • Strong investment modelling and development feasibility skills
  • Understanding of operational and financial parameters in established and development assets
  • Market knowledge, trends and metrics across asset classes
  • Proven track record of achieving results through influencing and relationship skills
  • Customer focus – anticipating and understanding customer needs
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
