Our team is seeking an experienced professional to fill a key role in our Deal Advisory practice. This position will involve working on complex transactions and providing expert guidance to clients.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to deal execution across the Deal Advisory practice, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Services, Valuations, and Turnaround and Restructuring. They will apply structured thinking and analysis to complex client problems; develop options and a runway to stabilise client issues. The ideal candidate will also build trust and partnerships with diverse client groups; prepare proposals, case studies, and sector-specific materials.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Commerce or similar, with a strong academic record; ability to commence/continue relevant postgraduate studies (CFA, CA, Master of Finance).
  • Diversified M&A, Corporate Finance or Debt Advisory experience, preferably within a Big 4, corporate development team and/or investment banking/boutique firm.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn; ability to support the wider team locally and nationally.
  • Ability to help lead day-to-day execution of a full-cycle M&A transaction.
