About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Driver Trainer to join our team at SCT Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training to new and existing drivers, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement training programs that focus on safety procedures, operational efficiency, and customer service excellence.
  • Evaluate trainee performance and provide constructive feedback to support their professional development.
  • Maintain accurate training records and documentation in accordance with organisational requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and legislative changes to continuously improve the training curriculum.

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a professional locomotive driver in the rail industry.Demonstrated ability to deliver training and assessment in a vocational education environment.In-depth knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards in the rail transport industry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate trainees.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for developing training programs and maintaining records.
