We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead our scholarly communication team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex projects, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and driving forward-thinking solutions to enhance research impact.

  • Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to advance scholarly communication practices
• Lead a high-performing team of professionals responsible for research support services and open research initiatives
• Foster partnerships with academic departments, research centers, and external organizations to promote collaborative research endeavors
• Analyze data and metrics to inform decision-making and optimize research outcomes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies and procedures related to research data management and curation
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in scholarly communication and open research

  • Requirements

• Postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., information science, librarianship, communications)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a research-intensive institution or organization
• Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic plans, leading cross-functional teams, and building strong stakeholder relationships
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills
