About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sustainability Analyst to join our team at Civeo. As a key member of our sustainability team, you will play a critical role in driving our environmental initiatives and contributing to our company's overall sustainability goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and Track Sustainability Performance: Support Civeo's sustainability efforts by monitoring, tracking progress, and reporting on performance related to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs.
  • Research and Data Collection: Research legal and other requirements and collect data from a variety of internal and external sources to support sustainability initiatives.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop data collection methodologies and reporting processes for various sustainability indicators, including energy use, greenhouse gas emissions (scope 1, 2, and 3), water use, and waste/recycling.
  • Statistical Analysis and Forecasting: Perform data validation and statistical analysis of Civeo's sustainability indicators to support analysis and forecasts and contribute to reports.
  • GHG Emissions Reduction: Evaluate and monitor greenhouse gas emission levels and support the development of reports, presentations, and action plans to reduce these levels.
  • Regulatory Compliance and Market Trends: Monitor and report on regulatory requirements, market, and industry trends related to sustainability.
  • Reporting and Communication: Write reports describing findings, recommendations, and overall impacts. Identify areas for improvement, develop recommendations for follow-up action, and research potential resources.
Qualifications
  • Education: Degree/Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
Skills and Experience
  • Environmental Monitoring and Reporting: Experience with environmental and sustainability monitoring and reporting, including energy use and greenhouse gas emissions, waste, and water use.
  • GHG Estimation Methodology: Understanding of the greenhouse gas estimation methodology and accounting standards, including scope 3 emissions.
  • Sustainability Frameworks: Knowledge of corporate sustainability frameworks.
  • Sustainability Legislation: Working knowledge of sustainability legislation, regulations, and codes of practice.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent proficiency in the use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and autonomously, with excellent communication and reporting skills.
