Your role will be pivotal in advancing Civeo's sustainability objectives by conducting thorough research, gathering data, and executing statistical evaluations of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions alongside other sustainability metrics to assess our performance and progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Civeo's sustainability programs by tracking, monitoring, and reporting on performance metrics related to ESG initiatives.
  • Investigate legal obligations and gather data from diverse internal and external resources.
  • Formulate data collection techniques and reporting frameworks for various sustainability metrics, including energy consumption, GHG emissions (scope 1, 2, and 3), water usage, and waste management.
  • Conduct data validation and statistical assessments of Civeo's sustainability metrics to support analytical insights and forecasts, contributing to comprehensive reports.
  • Assess and track GHG emission levels while aiding in the creation of reports, presentations, and strategic plans aimed at reducing these emissions.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and industry trends.
  • Draft reports detailing findings, recommendations, and overall impacts. Identify improvement opportunities, propose follow-up actions, and explore potential resources.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in environmental and sustainability monitoring and reporting, including energy consumption, GHG emissions, waste, and water management.
  • Familiarity with GHG estimation methodologies and accounting standards, including Scope 3 emissions.
  • Understanding of corporate sustainability frameworks.
  • Knowledge of sustainability legislation, regulations, and best practices.
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in handling large datasets.
  • Strong analytical, data analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent skills in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting and work independently.
  • Capability to generate key results and reports for management review.
