We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a part-time Japanese Grocery Sales Associate. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about Japanese culture and products, and is looking for a flexible work schedule.

About the Role:

  • Assist customers with their queries and provide excellent customer service by offering expert advice on Japanese food products and cooking methods.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge and be able to explain key features and benefits of Japanese products to customers.
  • Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks at once to meet customer needs.
  • Understand and adhere to Japanese working culture and values, including respect for colleagues and customers.
  • Be physically capable of performing duties such as lifting and standing for long periods.
  • Hold full and unlimited working rights in Australia, preferably with valid Australian PR status or citizenship.

Key Requirements:

  • Fluent in Japanese (reading and speaking)
  • Over intermediate English level (able to explain Japanese products and cooking methods)
