Job Opportunity

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated part-time Grocery Shop Assistant to join our team.

As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to customers with a positive attitude and a smile.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and merchandising within the store, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Assisting with inventory management and restocking shelves as required, maximizing stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service, fostering a supportive and productive team environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods of time, maintaining physical stamina and endurance.
  • Fluency in Japanese (reading and speaking) and upper intermediate English level, enabling effective communication with customers and colleagues.
  • Previous experience working in retail or a similar environment is desirable, but not essential.
