Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, ensuring expectations are met and tailored responses are provided to resolve incidents.
  • Communicate findings to the relevant management levels to effectively identify and mitigate risks.
  • Engage actively with patients and stakeholders to thoroughly investigate complaints and queries, identifying concerns and proposing viable solutions.
  • Analyze clinical documentation and other evidence to assess the quality of patient care and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with patients, staff, and healthcare providers to address complaints and incidents in alignment with our commitment to high-quality care.
  • Prioritize and escalate complex queries and complaints to the appropriate personnel.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in complaint resolution within the last few years, demonstrating resilience and the ability to handle challenging conversations.
  • Strong customer service orientation, showcasing empathy and patience.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the capability to craft written responses tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to investigate issues, draw logical conclusions, and present findings in accordance with organizational policies.
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn new software for data analysis and trend tracking.
  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous but not essential.
  • Prior experience in mentoring or managing team members is preferred.
  • Must possess full working rights.
  • Willingness to obtain a National Police Check within six months.
