About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to join our team at Thales Australia. As a Commercial Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting our business in achieving optimal commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial management outcomes for our business
  • Lead a team of contract managers to deliver key contracts and projects
  • Review, draft, and negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers
  • Identify commercial and contract risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Provide legal and commercial leadership on high-risk, high-value contracts and projects
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies

Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business
  • 8-12 years of experience in commercial management or a mix of legal experience and commercial experience
  • Strong commercial knowledge and a proven track record in a Bid/Capture environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
