Final Layout Artist

We're seeking a highly skilled Final Layout Artist to join our team. As a key member of the animation production process, you will be responsible for finalizing set dressing, camera work, and casting to ensure all components are ready for production's final stages.

  • Fine-tune cinematic staging as directed by the Layout Supervisor or Director
  • Collaborate with the Final Layout Lead and Supervisor to finalize camera setups, including framing, angles, and movement, to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
  • Refine and polish set dressing, ensuring cohesive elements align with the director's vision.
  • Provide attention to detail to maintain continuity and consistency.
  • Document the final layout process to ensure clarity and consistency across the team.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to maintain clear communication and updates on progress and potential challenges.
  • Deliver creative and technical requirements of a sequence in a timely manner to the highest standard.
  • Maintain awareness of production status and ensure all visual elements are technically sound and ready for production's final stages.
  • Help provide solutions to creative briefs through existing tools and processes.
  • Understand the department pipeline, including assets and tools, and their purpose.
Key Requirements

We're looking for individuals with 2-3 years of experience working in Final Layout on feature animated films, TV series, or VFX films. Proficiency in Maya and knowledge of Blender are recommended. Strong aptitude for detail and process is essential.
