The Opportunity:
You will work closely with the COO to develop and implement operational strategies that drive better outcomes for our customers. This role requires strong support for trustee governance, preparation of high-quality board and committee papers, and ensuring regulatory compliance with integrity and professionalism.
As a key member of the team, you will also be responsible for driving financial and risk excellence through operational risk frameworks, supporting budgeting and performance monitoring, and maintaining robust yet agile controls. You will lead process improvements that enhance customer experience, manage key vendor relationships, and champion a culture of continuous improvement across the business.
About You:
You are a seasoned professional with deep expertise in financial services, particularly superannuation or wealth management. Your strong grasp of regulatory frameworks and ability to support C-suite executives make you an ideal candidate for this role. With a strategic mindset and hands-on approach, you will ensure our operations remain resilient, compliant, and customer-focused.
Specifically, you should have:
a background in financial services, preferably superannuation or wealth management
a deep understanding of superannuation regulations and trustee governance
experience with Registrable Superannuation Entities (RSEs) and APRA standards
a strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability
strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
a curious, analytical, and collaborative leadership style
financial acumen and a passion for customer outcomes
