Asset Management Professional

This role is responsible for maintaining, altering or repairing plant and equipment in accordance with relevant qualifications, skills and competency level.

This position plays a critical part of the Asset Management Team and supports the team's objectives and goals across Southern NSW Local Health District facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance, alteration or repair work of plant and equipment
  • Support the Asset Management Team's objectives and goals
  • Collaborate with trade work colleagues, clinicians, healthcare clients and Engineering Supervisors
Requirements:
  • Relevant NSW Trade Certificate/Licence and/or current Qualified Supervisors Certificate
  • High level of computer skills and ability to use Asset Management systems (AFM online), Microsoft office and SNSWLHD's Building Management System
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards relating to installations in hospitals
  • Ability to acquire new skills and keep up to date with trade developments
  • Highly developed communication skills
Working Conditions:
  • Work consistent hours of operation with the major work centre
  • Assist with provision of afterhours and emergency response and repairs
  • Participate in the on call roster as required
