Senior Tax Accountant Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to support our Group Tax team in meeting tax compliance obligations.

The role involves preparing and reviewing tax returns, supporting business units with technical tax matters, and driving continuous improvement for optimal tax outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of tax provisions and notes for corporate entities
  • Timely and accurate preparation of annual income tax return, fringe benefit tax return, and annual AIIR from a business unit/entity perspective
  • Calculation of monthly PAYG Instalment Income
  • Support with transfer pricing, Pillar 2, controlled foreign company, and withholding tax issues associated with cross-border transactions
  • Development or maintenance of relationships with key business partners
  • Identification and implementation of process improvements
Requirements:
  • Degree Qualified - Major in Accounting
  • 3-5 years relevant Australian corporate tax experience in income tax, FBT
  • Proven previous tax effect accounting experience with good working knowledge of AASB 112
  • Knowledge of financial applications, including PeopleSoft, CCH Integrator, and database
  • Highly developed computer and numeracy skills
  • Fully qualified CA/CPA
