We are proud to announce our partnership with the Australian Department of Defence, offering exciting career opportunities in property and asset services across South Australia and the Northern Territory.
This is a permanent full-time position based at one of our main bases in the Northern Territory. As a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of various estate-related activities.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the processing and management of all estate maintenance to ensure timely completion.
- Managing and supervising the execution of estate works projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
- Leading the coordination of survey initiatives and preparing quotes for estate work projects.
- Conducting regular safety performance reviews of ongoing projects to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Evaluating the quality of current projects, ensuring that all work meets established standards.
- Identifying areas for process improvements and collaborating with teams to implement best practices.
You must have 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership role in a similar industry. You should also have experience in stakeholder management, budget control, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and strong knowledge of project management tools.
A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is highly desirable. You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
