Project Management Office Lead

We are proud to announce our partnership with the Australian Department of Defence, offering exciting career opportunities in property and asset services across South Australia and the Northern Territory.

This is a permanent full-time position based at one of our main bases in the Northern Territory. As a Project Management Office (PMO) Lead, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the execution of various estate-related activities.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the processing and management of all estate maintenance to ensure timely completion.
  • Managing and supervising the execution of estate works projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and standards.
  • Leading the coordination of survey initiatives and preparing quotes for estate work projects.
  • Conducting regular safety performance reviews of ongoing projects to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Evaluating the quality of current projects, ensuring that all work meets established standards.
  • Identifying areas for process improvements and collaborating with teams to implement best practices.

You must have 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 3 years' experience in a leadership role in a similar industry. You should also have experience in stakeholder management, budget control, familiarity with regulatory requirements, and strong knowledge of project management tools.

A Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is highly desirable. You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.
