Energy Grid Development Specialist

The Rewiring the Nation Office is a dynamic and collaborative workplace, driving investment in Australia's major electricity grids to achieve energy and climate policy goals.
We seek experienced professionals to join the Marinus Link Team, managing the Commonwealth's interest in this essential transmission project. The team delivers on key work programs, including project delivery, inter-governmental relationships, and project finance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking research and analysis, developing advice, and drafting briefings
- Liaising with stakeholders, coordinating ad hoc requests, and managing government processes
- Supervising and developing staff
We require deep expertise in one of the following areas:
- Project Delivery: experience working on infrastructure projects or technical advisory roles
- Project Finance: experience leading analytical work on financial investment decisions
Skills and capabilities include:
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in writing
- Critical thinking and sound judgement
