Salary Information

Certificate 3 educators can earn up to $37 per hour, while Diploma qualified individuals can earn up to $43 per hour. Block bookings are available for a steady and consistent work arrangement, paid at a casual rate of pay.

Job Description

As an educator, you will facilitate learning experiences for allocated groups of children, collaborating with fellow educators to develop and implement inspirational educational programs. Your role will involve covering lunch breaks, sick days, and annual leave days for permanent educators, as well as participating in observations and recordings of children's development.

You will have the opportunity to explore different centres and philosophies, picking up new skills and expanding your professional growth. With Expect A Star, we believe in supporting our educators to become the best they can be.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A Certificate III or Diploma in ECEC, or studying towards a qualification in Early Childhood
  • A Paid Blue Card
  • Basic food handling certificate
