Lead Event Program Manager

This is a leadership opportunity to design, plan and execute high-value events that deliver meaningful outcomes for a prestigious member-based organisation.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced event strategist with a passion for content creation and team leadership. The successful candidate will play a critical leadership role overseeing the design, content strategy, and execution of over 200 events annually.

  • Design and schedule the national event program, ensuring strategic alignment with organisational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver impactful events.
  • Manage and mentor a team of four content producers, ensuring alignment with organisational strategy, policy releases, and member needs.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the development of a comprehensive event strategy, incorporating market research, stakeholder feedback, and performance metrics.
  2. Coordinate with subject matter experts, committees, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of events.
  3. Oversee content development, speaker sourcing, and program reporting, utilising data-driven insights to inform decision-making.
  4. Drive program improvement through continuous evaluation and refinement of event processes and procedures.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 5+ years of experience in event programming, content strategy, and team leadership.
  • A proven track record of delivering large-scale professional or corporate events.
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working with event calendars, budgets, and reporting tools.
