Job Overview

  • This role involves performing high-precision mechanical assembly of complex components, working to micron-level tolerances using specialised tools and measurement equipment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble complex components with precision and accuracy.
  • Work closely with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and refine assembly processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent, reliable builds.
Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in precision mechanical assembly, ideally in toolmaking, engine or spindle assembly, or hydraulic systems.
  • Strong understanding of tight tolerances, mechanical drawings, and precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, dial indicators).
  • A trade qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting & Machining, Toolmaking, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to work in a structured, procedure-driven environment with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Australian Citizenship and eligibility to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
