Overview

We are seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team at the Essendon DFO store. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring seamless inventory management, allowing us to provide an unparalleled shopping experience for our customers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date stock levels, ensuring that floor stock is always presentable and replenished as needed. They will work closely with the sales floor team to provide world-class customer service and support.

This includes performing regular stock checks, coordinating ordering of popular stock, and managing receipting issues with Head Office regarding missing stock, short deliveries, and other discrepancies.

In addition, they will process faulty or damaged products on a monthly basis, maintain pricing on the retail floor in accordance with Head Office guidelines, and prepare ad-hoc reports as required.

The ideal candidate will have previous retail sales and/or stock management experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date stock levels

Requirements
  • Previous retail sales and/or stock management experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in completing and leading store stock-take is favourable
