Turf Specialist

- Pay rate + penalty rates, overtime, and allowances + superannuation

**About the role**:
As a Turf Specialist, you will be key in maintaining and enhancing turf areas ensuring they remain lush, healthy, and resilient. Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves maintaining and enhancing turf areas, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
- Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
- Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
- Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.

**About You**:

- Certificate III in Turf Management
- Previous experience in turf management, greenkeeping, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
- Ongoing safety training programs and resources available.
