We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Scientist to join our New Product Development (NPD) team. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for developing and evaluating new ideas that improve coating performance, meet regulatory requirements, and address unmet customer and market needs.

As a Senior Scientist, you will use your technical expertise in coatings technology to design and execute experiments, develop creative solutions, and help translate research into commercially viable products. Your work will directly contribute to the successful launch of innovation projects, ensuring products consistently meet performance, safety, and sustainability standards.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related STEM discipline; advanced qualifications are highly regarded.
  • Industrial experience in coatings, paints, or related fields, with strong bench chemistry and formulation expertise.
  • Proven track record in product development, with knowledge of coatings systems such as polyurethane, epoxy, waterborne, and solvent borne technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage ambiguity, anticipate risks, and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
