Senior Distiller and Brewer Position

A senior leadership opportunity exists for an experienced distiller & or brewer looking to drive innovation in production, quality, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily operations of the Still and Brewhouse, ensuring production goals and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team on new product development (NPD) and research & development (R&D) for contract customers.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and record keeping for excise, storage, and production processing.
  • Coordinate handover of liquid in tank to the packaging team.
  • Promote ongoing research and development of spirits, beer, and broader product range, fostering creativity and innovation.
  • Work closely with the Production Technician to oversee maintenance and calibration of distillation, brewing, and blending equipment, and supplementary services.
  • Develop and maintain all standard operating procedures (SOP's) for brewing, distilling, and blending equipment.
  • E nsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning distillery and brewery operations, including health & safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years plus experience in commercial distillation and brewing, along with qualifications in Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Strong GMP and health and safety focus is essential, as well as solid communication skills (written and verbal) and strong leadership and team-building abilities to motivate and develop your team.
