
Inclusive Employment Specialist

As an Inclusive Employment Australia professional, you will be responsible for building strong partnerships with local employers, understanding their workforce needs and supporting them to hire more people with a disability, injury or health condition.
You will connect local employers with our services, identify suitable job openings and referral pathways and support businesses in successfully employing individuals with a disability.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Serving as a liaison between employers in the Ipswich and Logan regions and local teams
- Maintaining knowledge of the local labour market and emerging industries, with the goal of securing ongoing employment opportunities
- Identifying and developing new employer relationships, taking time to understand staffing needs and providing tailored recruitment solutions
- Helping employers adapt their processes or roles to accommodate candidates with specific needs and maximising productivity and other benefits towards achieving organisational goals
- Engaging job-ready candidates and matching them with employers through referrals, job carving and reverse marketing to achieve sustainable outcomes
- Working closely with Employment Consultants and Ongoing Support Consultants to build opportunities in relevant industries and provide post-placement support to participants and their employers
- Achieving or exceeding performance targets and adopting a high-performance approach to the role
We are looking for someone with:
- Relevant qualifications in areas such as Employment Services, Community Services or other relevant fields
- Previous experience in employment services including barrier management, reverse marketing, candidate placement into employment and post-placement support will be highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience in business development,
