Optical Assistant Role Overview

Our practice is seeking two casual Optical Assistants to join our front-of-house and dispensing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with others and loves helping people.

This role will provide opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and contribute to a growing business in the eye care sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
  • Assist patients with frame selection and styling
  • Perform administrative duties including booking appointments and handling payments
  • Support the team as needed
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in Optics an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly across weekdays and Saturdays
  • Comfortable with change and open to learning new systems and processes
  • Team player with a positive attitude and great attention to detail
