Key Responsibilities

We seek a highly skilled professional to bridge the gap between data and decision-making by creating intuitive and actionable insights using PowerBI.

The successful candidate will drive smarter decisions and uplift reporting maturity across the business by designing user-friendly, high-performing solutions that apply expertise in Power BI, DAX, and semantic modelling with a strong eye for visual design.

Role Overview

As a senior developer, you will play a key role in turning complex data into clear, engaging dashboards and reports that drive smarter decisions across the business. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices in data storytelling.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models.
  • Collaborate within agile delivery teams, actively contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and reviews.
  • Optimise data models and report performance, applying techniques such as star schema design, DAX optimisation, Power Query transformations, and performance tuning.
  • Integrate and manage multiple data sources while ensuring security, governance, and compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5-7+ years' experience in business intelligence, data visualisation, or reporting within complex organisations.
  • Proven expertise in Power BI, including semantic model development, report development, deployment, workspace management, and content sharing.
  • Advanced skills in SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M) for complex calculations, data cleansing, and transformation.
