About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Vehicle Assessor and Settlement Specialist to join our team at RAC of WA. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing damaged motor vehicles and caravans, determining damage costs, and recommending cost-effective methods of claim settlement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessing damaged motor vehicles and caravans to determine damage costs and recommend repair options.
  • Negotiating with customers and repairers to ensure fair and reasonable outcomes.
  • Providing exceptional customer service to RAC members and stakeholders.
  • Adhering to industry codes of conduct and ensuring quality expectations are met.
Requirements
  • A relevant trade qualification in Panel Beating or Spray Painting.
  • At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
  • Strong customer service, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm in a professional work environment.
